The Carpenter's Out and about Painting

When we have some time spare we like to go out and about drawing and painting, mostly in the summer months as you all know England's reputation for weather. Around us are gorgeous places like Kersey, Pin Mill, and Cavendish in Suffolk, and Maldon, Tollesbury and Dedham in Essex, to name just a few.

The Carpenter's

Tolesbury, Essex this lovely old lighthouse boat, "Trinity" is used by the Sea Scouts. Painted in water colour on one of our days out. The surrounding scenery is the painter's dreamland, sail lofts, old boats, a marina, boat yards, it's all here. By Artist: Brenda Carpenter
